Outreach
Kappa Kappa Gamma
As an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma from 2022 to 2026, I was involved in philanthropy events, sisterhood activities, and different campus initiatives throughout my time in the chapter. Being part of KKG gave me meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community, while also helping me grow in confidence and communication.
Our chapter supported the JED Foundation, which focuses on mental health awareness, and I participated in fundraising efforts and events that helped raise money and bring more attention to mental health resources on campus.
I also contributed to outreach efforts, especially through promoting events and sharing information online.
Whether it was posting about philanthropy events, encouraging friends to attend, or spreading awareness about our partnership with JED, I used my own network to help expand our reach. That experience showed me how important communication and visibility are in making an impact. On my website, I highlight not just my involvement, but how I helped support and promote these initiatives, showing my commitment to community engagement and meaningful causes.

Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad
In my role at the study abroad office during the Fall of 2025, I worked closely with students who were interested in going abroad, especially those planning to study in Florence. I helped answer general questions, guided students through the application process, reviewed visa materials, and supported pre-departure orientations to make sure they felt prepared and confident before leaving. Along with advising responsibilities, I also managed front desk tasks and handled daily office communication, which strengthened my organization and professionalism.
I naturally became someone students felt comfortable reaching out to directly for guidance. I acted as a peer advisor, sharing my own experience and offering honest insight about academics, cultural adjustments, and what to expect while abroad. I also led multiple presentations for incoming study abroad students, where I walked them through timelines, expectations, and practical tips. Through both one-on-one conversations and larger presentations, I focused on being approachable and realistic, helping students feel supported throughout the entire process.

Women in Business
Sophomore year, I was a member of Women in Business, where I connected with other driven and motivated students who shared similar academic and career interests. Through the organization, I attended professional development workshops, networking events, and speaker sessions that gave me exposure to different career paths within business. These events helped me better understand potential industries, internship opportunities, and the skills needed to succeed in competitive environments.
Being part of Women in Business also pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone whether that meant introducing myself to professionals, asking questions during panels, or building new connections with peers. The organization created a supportive environment where collaboration and ambition were encouraged, and it helped me become more confident in thinking about my own career goals and leadership potential.
Additionally, WIB helped me connect with women outside of Clemson who noticed my involvement on my resume and were also in similar organizations at their schools in the past. WIB helped me create a network of individuals both within and outside of my Clemson community and expanded my outreach in the business world exponentially.
